How to search the web without being tracked
You can browse carefully and still give everything away in the search box. A query is a sentence about your intentions, written in your own words, timestamped and addressed. It is the most valuable data you produce - and the least protected.

What a search log contains
- -The query text, verbatim, including typos and follow-up refinements.
- -A timestamp, which reveals routine as clearly as content.
- -Your IP address, which links sessions across days.
- -Which result you clicked and how quickly you came back.
Stitched together across weeks, that record predicts a health condition, a job hunt, a breakup or a purchase before you tell anyone.
Why incognito does not help here
A private window deletes your local history. The query still leaves your device, still arrives at the engine, and is still logged there. Deleting your copy of the receipt does not delete theirs.
What actually works
- -An engine with no query logging and no profile - the only structural fix.
- -No account attached to the search session.
- -A masked IP so queries cannot be grouped by origin.
- -Erasing the results when the task is done, rather than leaving them on screen.
Erase-first search
DeepIncognito treats every search as temporary infrastructure. Nothing about your query is retained, nothing is stored locally, the session destructs after inactivity, and a single tap dissolves the results in front of you. There is no profile to leak because there is no profile.
